[@dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/) is your next getaway (if only for a minute or two) , so enjoy the view. Daily Overview posts stunning panoramas of cityscapes to coastlines, emphasizing the natural colors that occur when different structures or natural forces meet. Most stunning of all, though, is the account’s use of perspective—every photo is taken from an extreme bird’s-eye view, laying out the architectural beauty of the earth as seen from above. The photography-based account has been able to carve out a niche on a social media site already laden with gorgeous photos of nature, transporting their followers far away from where they are and into the stratosphere. So, during your next social media binge, see if @dailyoverview can’t help you to zone (and zoom) all the way out. Its design, which depicts a pair of dolphins circling each other, calls for roughly 8.8 billion gallons (33.3 billion liters) of reclaimed land to create. The island is slightly more than one mile (1.68 km) in diameter with about 7 miles (11.4 km) of coastline. When finished, it will house a high-end ecological resort. /// Created by [@dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed), source imagery [@digitalglobe](https://www.instagram.com/digitalglobe/?utm_source=ig_embed) [View all 67 comments](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuCCGgLFFW3/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ad6456df-0383-43aa-9513-866a063e6a65) [Add a comment...](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuCCGgLFFW3/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ad6456df-0383-43aa-9513-866a063e6a65) [_Instagram_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuCCGgLFFW3/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ad6456df-0383-43aa-9513-866a063e6a65) Instagram [dailyoverview _Verified_](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [Lisse](https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/237756235/lisse/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [View profile](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) \\ \\ dailyoverview _Verified_\\ \\ 3,961 posts · 2M followers\\ \\ [View more on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [Like](https://www.instagram.com/p/BqS83K6lWMt/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [_Comment_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BqS83K6lWMt/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [_Share_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BqS83K6lWMt/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [_Save_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BqS83K6lWMt/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [23,152 likes](https://www.instagram.com/p/BqS83K6lWMt/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) [dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=56e8f939-4cf8-417e-9f99-48069fb4dabd) Check out this Overview, which captures the blooming tulip fields in Lisse, Netherlands. It is based on the works of author Dr. Seuss and features attractions such as “The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride” and a “Green Eggs and Ham Cafe.” True to Seussian style, the theme park claims that no straight lines exist in its design — even palm trees left bent by Hurricane Andrew were re-planted at the park to advance this theme. /// Created by [@dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed), source imagery: [@nearmap](https://www.instagram.com/nearmap/?utm_source=ig_embed) [View all 93 comments](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuANRQ9lr_L/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=a3c484e4-0c43-438e-8b46-6467bac707d7) [Add a comment...](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuANRQ9lr_L/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=a3c484e4-0c43-438e-8b46-6467bac707d7) [_Instagram_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BuANRQ9lr_L/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=a3c484e4-0c43-438e-8b46-6467bac707d7) Instagram [dailyoverview _Verified_](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [Tecate, Baja California](https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/226324702/tecate-baja-california/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [View profile](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) \\ \\ dailyoverview _Verified_\\ \\ 3,961 posts · 2M followers\\ \\ [View more on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [Like](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bss85RnFCNT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [_Comment_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bss85RnFCNT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [_Share_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bss85RnFCNT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [_Save_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bss85RnFCNT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [24,986 likes](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bss85RnFCNT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) [dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=5c22f43b-2950-498f-8e00-76f14fc87132) This Overview shows a large picnic at US-Mexico border, spanning from Tecate, California, USA, to Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. Smithson reportedly chose this site because of the vibrant colors of the water (salt-tolerant bacteria and algae thrive here in 27% salinity) and its connection with the primordial sea. /// Created by [@benjaminrgrant](https://www.instagram.com/benjaminrgrant/?utm_source=ig_embed), source imagery [@digitalglobe](https://www.instagram.com/digitalglobe/?utm_source=ig_embed) [View all 72 comments](https://www.instagram.com/p/BvFUY75FSS-/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ebe45158-1559-49a9-8a1d-9e7bf3268971) [Add a comment...](https://www.instagram.com/p/BvFUY75FSS-/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ebe45158-1559-49a9-8a1d-9e7bf3268971) [_Instagram_](https://www.instagram.com/p/BvFUY75FSS-/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=ebe45158-1559-49a9-8a1d-9e7bf3268971) Instagram [dailyoverview _Verified_](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [Faroe Islands](https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/238342740/faroe-islands/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [View profile](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) \\ \\ dailyoverview _Verified_\\ \\ 3,961 posts · 2M followers\\ \\ [View more on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [Like](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [_Comment_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [_Share_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [_Save_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [46,712 likes](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [dailyoverview](https://www.instagram.com/dailyoverview/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) Check out this amazing shot we found on [@droneoftheday](https://www.instagram.com/droneoftheday/?utm_source=ig_embed), which captures Cape Enniberg, the northernmost point of the Faroe Islands. At 2,474 feet (754 m) high, Cape Enniberg is one of the highest promontories in the world. Throughout the summer, boat tours stop at Cape Enniberg to give tourists an up-close view of the massive cliff and the famous bird colony found there. /// Drone photo courtesy of [@karl\_shakur](https://www.instagram.com/karl_shakur/?utm_source=ig_embed) [View all 339 comments](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [Add a comment...](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) [_Instagram_](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpze_0Gl0AT/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2e321476-49cc-41e5-87fb-166e7cda14f6) * * * [Social News](/content/article/category/Social+News/index.html) [Victoria Friend](/content/article?author=5cabab31eef1a11582fbaa05/index.html) April 8, 2019[Instagram of the Week](/content/article/tag/Instagram+of+the+Week/index.html), [Instagram](/content/article/tag/Instagram/index.html), [@dailyoverview](/content/article/tag/%40dailyoverview/index.html), [Social Media](/content/article/tag/Social+Media/index.html), [Victoria Friend](/content/article/tag/Victoria+Friend/index.html)[1 Comment](/content/article/2019/instagram-handle-of-the-week-dailyoverview#comments-5caba0cf1905f4d3c1148da2/index.html) [Facebook0](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.beyondtheinterview.com%2Farticle%2F2019%2Finstagram-handle-of-the-week-dailyoverview) [Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.beyondtheinterview.com%2Farticle%2F2019%2Finstagram-handle-of-the-week-dailyoverview&text=Gain+some+perspective+in+this+increasingly+nearsighted+world+with+an+account+...)
